My Comic Relief challenge update

Sponsor me. You nose it makes sense!

So, you have voted in your tens for which voice you wanted me to use in my Comic Relief challenge and the results are in. I asked FIFA to verify them but apparently they said Russia won so I just ignored them. In the end, it was a two horse race, with my freaky Wendy voice narrowly losing out to the high-pitched Kit. The full results and more background on my challenge can be found by clicking the link above in this paragraph.

In case you missed it though, this is the voice that I’ll be using for the next seven days in aid of Comic Relief….

I’ve been overwhelmed by your support and generosity so far. I only decided to do it for a bit of a laugh but I’ve already raised £300 for a great cause. I’d still welcome more though so when you’ve finished reading this, go over to and sponsor me if you haven’t already.

I’ve even had an article in local newspaper, the Sunday Sun, about it all!

I’m going to look a right silly bugger with that voice this week (especially as I’ve just realised I have some important meetings to attend!) but the fun isn’t over for you either. I’m still giving shout-outs and taking requests for stuff to say in any of my machine’s voices in return for sponsorship. Simply sponsor me and then put a comment on this post or by using the contact me page on my blog with whatever your request is. I’m even happy to send a message to someone else on your behalf (be it a confession of undying love or just simple abuse), just tell me what to say, who to send to it (twitter name etc), sponsor me and I’ll do the rest! You can sponsor me at

Below are recordings of some requests that have already been made. Thank you again for getting behind my ridiculous idea!

Henry asked me to say the lyrics to Aerosmith’s I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing. I thought that was too easy though. So I decided to ‘sing’ them in my poshest voice….

Heather wanted to hear Wendy’s best chat-up line….

This is a special message for Victoria….

And one for Carrie…

And this is just something I’ve always wanted to do. In fact, I dreamed of going on Pop Idol and doing it once upon a time just to see the reaction. My clubbing mates will appreciate this one….

Remember, you can have your own message too, all you have to do is sponsor me –
