Lost Voice Guy's real name is Lee Ridley. That's me! I am a writer, journalist, comedian and geek who is based in Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.
You can view some of my latest work on my showreel page.
I also have Cerebral Palsy. I have no speech (I use a small machine called a Lightwriter to speak) and I walk with a limp. Don't worry though, you can't catch it from me. It just means that you better not get stuck behind me on the stairs if there's a fire.
I am currently working as a full time comedian. I have also previously worked for Sunderland City Council's communications team, the BBC in Newcastle and London as well as various local newspapers including the Sunday Sun and the Evening Chronicle.
I have a Masters degree in online journalism and an undergraduate degree in journalism, both from the University of Central Lancashire. My Masters degree was sponsored by the BBC News Sponsorship Scheme. A full CV is available on request.
In my spare time, I enjoy writing comedy/fiction and performing comedy. I have a keen interest in many sports including football, basketball and ice hockey. I like watching television especially comedy and science fiction and various documentaries and enjoy reading horror, science fiction, factual books and autobiographies.
I also enjoy going out to clubs/bars/gigs and listening to various types of music and supporting the local music scene as well as going to various local events, venues and exhibitions.
I have a keen interest in all aspects of computers as well. This includes the internet, social media, digital photography and web site design.
