Who is this guy really?
Lost Voice Guy is a journalist and a geek from Newcastle Upon Tyne, where he lives on his own in the city centre. Apart from arsing about on the internet (which he does far too often), his other main interests are music (dance and indie especially although he likes a bit of everything), going clubbing/to gigs, going out with friends, watching football (he supports Newcastle for his sins), reading, writing and watching TV and DVDs.
He also loves stand up comedy and has been known to have a very strange sense of humour.
He also suffers from Cerebral Palsy. He has no speech (he uses a small machine to speak) and he walks with a limp. Don’t worry though, you can’t catch it from him. It just means that you better not get stuck behind him on the stairs if there’s a fire.
Please don’t judge him either. Your life is probably just as messed up as his. The only difference is that he gets the best seats on buses. He is sick of getting pointed and stared at too. For years he has had to put up with people laughing at him behind his back, making fun of him and generally making him feel like shit for being who he is. It’s not even his fault that he’s a Geordie anyway!
Anyway, that’s him in a nutshell! If you want to get in touch, you can e-mail lostvoiceguy@me.com or get in touch via his contact page.
More information about his background and work can also be found at http://leeridley.wordpress.com/
Oh, he also likes to write in the third person….
