#GreatNorthRun: Completed 📷
What an incredible day with incredible people! Thanks for all the love I received around the course, it really took my breath away. And a special thanks to my pushers, Lee, Ollie, Claudia and Paul, who were such a team together! 1/2
This is the face of someone who didn’t get to see @arminvanbuuren at @ushuaiaibiza tonight because, after waiting 2 hours for an accessible taxi, he decided to give up. Proving that there’s still a long way to go until we live in an accessible world @ibizatravel ... See MoreSee Less
So frustrating and upsetting. We were away in York today and a gate was locked so my daughter couldn’t get her wheelchair through to access the walkway into town. There are still so many barriers.
I agree for me it's places that I would like to visit that are down as wheelchair accessible but really they don't tell you the steep banks you got to conquer or the steps in your way.
One of my friends has problems getting onto buses 🚌 because pushchairs are in the disabled area
Accessible taxis there are a nightmare, we had same problem. They don’t seem to understand the concept of electric wheelchairs and think everyone with a disability can jump out of a manual chair, we had a third one sent at one point
That stinks! So not ok, sorry you missed it x
That’s bad brother why are you swearing for 😎
You could have out the angry emoji on me too 😂😂
I'm sorry you missed out. There is a way to go yet before we're absolutely inclusive.
this is what it's like for me too
Saw you in departures at Newcastle Airport last week but I didn’t want to bother you
Omg that's terrible I would have thought buy now that we would have sorted all that out by now what a nightmare for you 😳
😢. My aunt couldn’t attend a hospital appointment because although the care home ordered a wheelchair transport they sent walk on transport.
That’s shit. I live in mallorca and the drivers will call one for you if they can’t help. Often have tk wait 10-15 mins but there’s a few around.
Ushuaia is a bit wank anyway. 🙂
We have the same problem with City taxies in Sheffield. Also they don't care as they have the most of the market in Sheffield and the licence apartment don't do much about it. Also disabled have to pay extra for a accessable taxi. Disability Sheffield are fighting Sheffield city council to change things. I think we need to get all the country together to change the rules with taxies.
Really sorry to read this.
Gutted for u!
Leave Lost Voice Guy alone he is also disabled and just like me he has difficulty getting around, he has cerebral palsy and no voice where as I am registered blind severe sight impaired and have difficulty getting around as I am physically disabled as well

From a dreich spot in the Scottish Borders, with heating on, in a sleeping bag, eating porridge!
Have a wonderful holiday 😎😎

Nice one! Are you in San Antonio? We stayed in Es Cana over Easter and it was absolutely beautiful 😍 took a taxi ride to San Antonio for the afternoon, as I'd not been since 1995 and wanted to see if I could remember anything.... I couldn't 🙈🤣
You deserve it Lee.. Enjoy Was great seeing you in Barnstaple last year.
Have a nice holiday Lee, you deserve it x
Are you clubbing? If so what is the animal of choice? 😂🤣😂
I took part in the Great North Run with the best people! Shout out to Lee, Ollie, Claudia and Paul for doing the hard work! Here’s a little video from the day. There’s still time to sponsor us as well. Link in my bio. 😁

Great North Run: Completed 🏅 What an incredible day with incredible people! Thanks for all the love I received around the course, it really took my breath away. And a special thanks to my pushers, Lee, Ollie, Claudia and Paul, who were such a team together! And, of course, we all raised lots of money for the brilliant @smileforlifechildrenscharity. The whole experience has made me even prouder to be a Geordie! There’s still time to donate if you haven’t yet - link in bio!
Lost Voice Boy has been helping me get ready for the @great_run on Sunday, which I`m taking part in on behalf of @smileforlifechildrenscharity. They are an amazing charity which helps disabled children and young people. There`s still time to sponsor me if you can (link in bio). I`d really appreciate anything you could give!
@smileforlifechildrenscharity is just a brilliant charity, and I’m proud to be their patron and be running (rolling) the @great_run for them. They do great work with disabled children and young people. And they really work hard to empower these young people to achieve everything that they can in life. ❤️ You can donate at my JustGiving page via link in bio!
Love this photo of me and the late Andy Smart taken by stevebestpics. What a lovely guy he was! It`s in his latest book, COMEDIANS 2 with over 200 beautiful images of comedians, backstage and front of stage, the highs and the lows, the passion and the angst. Check it out here: www.stevebest.com.
I couldn’t come to Edinburgh and not perform, right?! Catch me at #edfringe tomorrow as we raise funds for the family of the amazing Gareth Richards, who died recently. See you at Whistlebinkies on Southbridge at 4pm!
