@lostvoiceguy aka Lee Ridley is getting ready to take on the AJ Bell #GreatNorthRun for the first time!
The BHT winner will be pushed in a wheelchair by 4 friends to raise money for @SmileforlifeNE. 🙌
Also been joined by the Lord Mayor of Newcastle, Councillor Veronica Dunn.

Did you manage to go to Cafe Del Mar? That place has the best atmosphere for watching the sun set, with the saxophone music in the background. Love this place ❤️

So frustrating and upsetting. We were away in York today and a gate was locked so my daughter couldn’t get her wheelchair through to access the walkway into town. There are still so many barriers.
One of my friends has problems getting onto buses 🚌 because pushchairs are in the disabled area
I agree for me it's places that I would like to visit that are down as wheelchair accessible but really they don't tell you the steep banks you got to conquer or the steps in your way.
Accessible taxis there are a nightmare, we had same problem. They don’t seem to understand the concept of electric wheelchairs and think everyone with a disability can jump out of a manual chair, we had a third one sent at one point

That’s shit. I live in mallorca and the drivers will call one for you if they can’t help. Often have tk wait 10-15 mins but there’s a few around. Ushuaia is a bit wank anyway. 🙂
We have the same problem with City taxies in Sheffield. Also they don't care as they have the most of the market in Sheffield and the licence apartment don't do much about it. Also disabled have to pay extra for a accessable taxi. Disability Sheffield are fighting Sheffield city council to change things. I think we need to get all the country together to change the rules with taxies.

Leave Lost Voice Guy alone he is also disabled and just like me he has difficulty getting around, he has cerebral palsy and no voice where as I am registered blind severe sight impaired and have difficulty getting around as I am physically disabled as well

Nice one! Are you in San Antonio? We stayed in Es Cana over Easter and it was absolutely beautiful 😍 took a taxi ride to San Antonio for the afternoon, as I'd not been since 1995 and wanted to see if I could remember anything.... I couldn't 🙈🤣
Many people just think of the partying but it is a beautiful island with a rich heritage
